High-performance technical wear, eco-certified outer shells, and premium knit configurations.
The global textile and luxury casual apparel sector is experiencing a paradigm shift. Today's commercial buying trends show that buyers are moving away from standard carded pique polo shirts. They are choosing high-durability, premium luster mercerised cotton polo shirts. These shirts feature fiber-level chemical changes that make them look cleaner, brighter, and hold their shape longer.
By exposing raw long-staple cotton to a cold concentrated sodium hydroxide (NaOH) bath, the naturally flat, twisted ribbon-like cellulose fiber swells, untwists, and rounds out its cross-section. This structural reorganization provides high-end retail brands with distinct advantages:
Aligning manufacturing strategies with geographic consumer demands and sustainability regulations.
Contemporary European and North American retail models require green sourcing practices. At Ningbo Jinmao, we combine our mercerizing process with BCI cotton, GOTS-certified organic cotton, and recycled polyester blends. This setup minimizes chemical runoff while maintaining the fabric's luxury feel.
US and Canadian corporate buyers focus on weight consistency and ease of care. Our mercerized pique structures feature clean silicone-washed finishes. This ensures they resist wrinkles and hold up to commercial laundering processes.
Demand in Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia leans toward lightweight structures with excellent moisture control. We supply double-mercerized jerseys made with Lenzing Modal and Supima cotton, combining silk-like drape with natural breathability.
Founded in the year of 2000, our corporation makes an annual turnover of over thirty million U.S. dollars after these 20 years of efforts and experiences through challenges and adversities. Now, as the leading garment import and export company in the Ningbo city, we are very conscious towards environmental issues and hold the quality and environmental management system certification of ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015. With more than 50 staff members, we cover men’s, ladies’ and kids’ wear. We have our independent designing and professional technical teams, specializing in all kinds of knitting and thin woven styles.

We have a mature business team, with an average tenure of more than 10 years. Most of our clients are large department stores, specialty stores, and supermarkets. We have served over 100 brands and exported to more than 30 countries. These experiences enable our merchandiser to immediately understand our clients' requirements for printing and embroidery, fabric texture, quality, and certifications upon receiving their brand information. Additionally, we arrange the most suitable factories and provide corresponding certifications based on our clients' requirements for workmanship.

Managing production capacity, custom orders, and fabric inventories with transparency.
Our company has more than 30 partner factories that possess various system certifications such as BSCI, Warp, Sedex, and Disney. Among them, there are large factories with over a thousand workers and a dozen production lines, as well as small workshops with just a few dozen employees. This allows us to arrange orders of various types and quantities.
Additionally, we have long-term cooperation with fabric suppliers who can provide materials certified with Oeko-tex, BCI, recycled polyester, organic cotton, Australian cotton, and Lenzing modal etc., to match our clients' products according to their needs.
By integrating our factory and material resources, we strive to help our clients avoid issues such as minimum order quantities. Even if they don't meet the minimum order quantity, we will provide them with multiple similar available fabrics to choose from.

Meeting top international standards for environmental, labor, and safety compliance.

How we transform raw materials into high-end double-mercerized polo shirts.
Once the order details are confirmed, we proceed to create a fit sample, which is a prototype garment made according to the customer's specifications. This sample is designed to match the exact measurements, fabric type, and style requested. We provide this sample to the customer for approval, ensuring that the size, pattern, and fit meet their expectations. This stage is crucial in achieving customer satisfaction, as it gives the customer an opportunity to see and feel the product before moving to bulk production.
To confirm the detail of bulk production such as labdip fabrics, printed, embroidery, packaging and other related details. Our color labs use advanced spectrophotometers to check color accuracy under multiple light sources (D65, TL84, CWF). This guarantees consistency between the approved lab dip and the final production run.
Before we begin full-scale production, we create a pre-production sample. This is a prototype made using the final approved fabrics, designs, and specifications. The pre-production sample is essential as it acts as the blueprint for the entire production run. The customer is asked to approve this sample to verify that all details—such as fit, fabric, colors, and patterns—are correct. Only after receiving customer approval on this pre-production sample do we proceed with mass production.
Our raw material database features a wide variety of specialized fabrics: Scuba Fabric, Coral Fleece & Sherpa Fleece, French Terry/Fleece, Interlock, Pique, Rib, Polar Fleece, and Single Jersey.
With the pre-production sample confirmed, we begin bulk production. During this stage, our production team carefully follows all specifications to produce the full quantity of garments. We assign a full-time Quality Control (QC) team to monitor each step of the production process, ensuring that each garment meets the highest standards of quality. We offer a variety of fabric technologies, including Print and Embroidery.

Single mercerization involves treating the raw cotton yarn in a sodium hydroxide bath, which increases color depth and tensile strength. Double mercerization goes a step further by treating the knitted fabric a second time. This removes loose surface fibers, increases luster, and ensures excellent dimensional stability to prevent twisting after washing.
We use closed-loop water systems that capture and neutralize alkaline solutions before disposal. Our facilities comply with ISO 14001:2015 standards, and we offer certified raw materials like BCI cotton and Lenzing Modal to meet your brand's environmental guidelines.
